01Renewal
A domain expires at the end of its registration period unless renewed. Renewal is your responsibility. Where we send reminders we do so as a courtesy, and a missed reminder does not extend the registration.
02Expiry and redemption
After expiry, registries apply their own grace and redemption stages, which differ by extension and may carry extra fees. During those stages the domain may stop working. We cannot guarantee that an expired domain can be recovered.
03Renewal price
The renewal price is the price in effect when you renew and may differ from the first-year price. It is shown before you pay.
04Transferring in
To transfer a domain to us you need its authorisation code and it must be unlocked and eligible under registry rules, which generally include a minimum time since registration or last transfer. A transfer can be rejected by the current registrar or registry, and some extensions add a year to the term.
05Transferring out
You may ask to transfer your domain to another registrar. We will provide the authorisation code and unlock the domain when the request is verified and the registry allows it. Transfers may be refused where a domain is within a registry lock period or subject to a dispute.
06DNS and name servers
Changes to DNS records and name servers take time to spread across the internet. We do not control how long other networks take to update.
